Hey!

I hope that everyone had an amazing holiday, and that this year's holiday season was much better than last year's!

As we know, 2021 has closed. For some that's a relief, for some that may be hard and for some...it's kinda just whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Personally, I almost always get tense and anxious during the new year, mostly just because I really, really don't like change.

I've always had a hard time with processing new situations and getting comfortable with the year changing and I'm honestly really tired of feeling that way. This year I've realized that the best way for me cope with the change of the seasons and the New Year is to literally "romanticize" my life like I live in a Miyazaki film! My favorite ways to do this are to write out my biggest inspirations for that moment/season, make aesthetic playlists, plan outfits, or really nice Pinterest boards! (Who doesn't love a good Pinterest board???)

I just noticed that over the past few years, I've never made mood boards or even playlists as inspiration during the new year (which is crazy because I make collages all the time) and because of that, I finally decided to this coming year for 2022!!!

I was inspired by a few of my favorite ig accounts to make an aesthetic board filled with all of my goals and I want to show some of my inspirations + fashion and music!

As far as ~vibes~ go, this year I really just want to feel...like a fairy.......🦋

2022 is the year of the POC YA books! (with an exception of one classic literature book)

(The last time I read a book that came out around the early 1900s It got so boring, but the cover is pretty and Tom Hiddleston said it was good so...)
