♡Brooklyn in Brooklyn♡

HEY!

Sorry I've been gone for a while, I did quite a bit this summer...

One thing I did do this summer that I wanted to tell you about
is.....

I WENT TO NEW YORK!!!!!

We went for a family reunion and went sightseeing the rest of the days
which was pretty fun.

I'm definitely not totally comfortable with traveling (because I
get homesick REALLY easily) but, it wasn't too bad.

Obviously, I have tons of pictures that I wanted to blog about so,
here they are!

We arrived at the airport around 6-ish, way earlier than I would
like to be awake but we had to get there in time.

It was about a five hour flight. To pass the time I watched Guardians of the Galaxy,
I drew, listened to music, slept, mostly slept.

We got there at 3:30 and were picked up by my uncle and cousin
to go to my Grandparent's house.

The next day we drove over to the hotel and
stayed there for three nights.

Me at the hotel..

The next three days were spent at the reunion. The first day was a BBQ,
the second was a white party and the last was a lunch.

It was cool to see my VERY LARGE extended family!

After the whole event was over we stayed at my Godfather's place
in BROOKLYN for the rest of the week!

When we arrived in BROOKLYN we were hungry so we took the
subway to a restaurant called Peaches.

(FYI, I've never taken the subway before so, that was cool.)

Here she is!

While we were on the train I tried to read but we got there a lot
sooner than I thought.

(Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone)

Here we are at Peaches...

If you are visiting Brooklyn defiantly come to Peaches, super good!

MMMMMmmmmm.

Apparently, across the street from Peaches was Spike Lee's office so after
we ate we had to go over and take pictures!!!

BROOKLYN IN BROOKLYN!

The next day we went to Dumbo to go to this
cool food court place called Time Out Market.

Me and the Manhattan Bridge!

(Me and my Bridge)

THE DUMBO CAROUSEL!!!

Searching for food...

Found it...

Very colorful.

After we ate we had to go to the store.

AESTHETIC...

The next morning we went to The Met!

We came there specifically to see the CAMP exhibit
and so we did...

FANTASTIC!

BJΓ–RK'S SWAN DRESSSS!!!!!

STUNNING!
WOW!

GORGEOUS!

That's not even all of it!

After we were done with the museum, we decided to
go for a walk in Central Park.

It was a lot BIGGER than I thought.

Met a friend.

Before we went to NYC my Dad told me that there was a John Lennon
tribute there in the park so I HAD to see that!

*SCREAMS INTERALLY*

I WAS FAN GIRLING SOOO HARD THAT DAY!!!!

Rest in peace, you amazing legend....

On the last day of our trip, we visited my Godfather's store!

Which is called.... PLANET BROOKLYN ACADEMY, my name was everywhere.
His store is inside of another amazing store called PEACE & RIOT.

Notorious...

The guy on the right is actually my cousin...

For summer the store made ice cream shirts!

Here's the flavors:

This is the one that I have.

They come in these cute ice cream tubs!

Here's some other stuff from the different sections in the store.

Definitely wanted this..

MAMAAA!!!!

BROOKLYN!!!!

Very much so....

Defiantly check these stores out online or in person
the next time you're in BROOKLYN!

Last but not least. FASHION TIME...

Tank: Hand me down from my BOMB MOM!

Shorts: Ross

Head wrap: Joann's fabric

Shoes: Ross

So that was the end of my wonderful, wild trip
I hope you enjoyed it.

Bye!!!!

Love, Brooklyn
