Hello!

Sadly, October has ended and candy and costumes have been eaten and put away, but dont worry because that just means that CHRISTMAS TIME IS APPROACHING SOON!!!!!! (I literally can't wait for Christmas already so I can drink hot chocolate and watch all my favorite wintery movies.)

I unfortunately didn't do a whole lot this October besides decorate and watch Freeforms 31 nights of Halloween, so I made sure that for the last weekend of the month that I would do something cool, and I did!.

So initially for Halloween I was going to be Ariel, but decided not to because:

Reason 1: we usually go down to Disneyland on the 31st but we couldn't because they tickets were sold out.

Reason 2: It was WAY to cold to be Ariel at night!

For my birthday this year, I had gotten a glitter seashell bag, an Ariel flower hair clip and some red hair wax so I had to dress as her somehow, so I decided to do a disneybound of her!!!!!:

(I swear, if were to dye my hair any color it would have to be burgundy or ginger!)

Since my Mom and I were both lacking in Vitamin D (as in "Vitamin Disney") we just drove down to Downtown Disney to just get a little Disney magic back into our systems. It's not the same as going into the park but its the next best thing and I'm desperate y'all! 2020 took all my Disney time away!!!!

The day before Halloween, one of my friends from my life group invited me and my parents to go thrifting around town with her and her daughter!

I'm a BIG thrifting person, especially when thrift stores have quality things for low prices (instead of the opposite) so I was super, super excited to go. Here are the things that I found!

First we went inside of a Buffalo Exchange for a while and I found this:

✨Have my cottagecore, milkmaid, fairycore, farmer-girl dreams come true????✨

When I saw this I immediately had to have it. Not for halloween, not for a costume, but just to WEAR.

for some reason ive just always wanted a dirndl-type, "Octoberfest" dresses that I can just prance around in if I want to, so when I found this dress for not $40, not $20 but only $14 when dresses like this literally cost like 25 bucks!

The only problems with the dress was that the zipper was broken but because I'm a professional seamstress (in my heart) I just seam ripped the zipper out and sewed back a new one!

I feel like a little farmer girl in it!!!!

I also got this "petite chat" while I was at another thrift store! (I'm going to name her Melody...)

I don't think my cat likes her very much lol.

I also got this beautiful hummingbird piece made by Thomas Kinkade FOR $1!!!

(I'm so, so, so, so, sad because I can't upload the picture of what the front looks like!!!!😭😭😭)

Lastly while we were out, we stopped by a bookstore (the day couldn't have gotten any better!) and your girl found this:

BAM! My own copy of one of the Twilight books! I was especially glad to get it because, 1st: I just watched 'New Moon' (Jacobs abs still resonate in my brain...) 2nd: The first book was literally soooooo good and I wanted to read more about Jacob since he wasn't in the first book as much and 3: IT WAS ONLY $3.89! ON AMAZON RIGHT NOW, IT'S $11.67!!!!

This is your warning now to buy as much secondhand books as you can because with the prices they have on books right now, I could literally just take some printer paper, mod podge and a 2# pencil and make a

1# New York best selling novel MYSELF!

This year I had so many different costume ideas in my head and I really couldn't decide on what to be this year....but then out of ✨nostalgia✨ I randomly wanted to watch one of my favorite childhood shows; Liv and Maddie

I turned on one of the old Halloween episodes....and low and behold.....This was Liv's costume:

And something in me said: "THIS is what my costume is going to be this year!"

And that's exactly what I did!

Except with SWORD because I'm a sucker for fractured fairy tales and I'm a fan of Once Upon A Time!

🍬Fun fact: This was actually my FIRST year trick or treating! I'm not a big candy person, I don't like scary things and I've never lived in a neighbor hood that did trick or treating so I just never did, but it was definitely one of the most fun things ive done all year!🍬
