πΈGreetings everyone!πΈ
So I know that the font that I usually use doesn't look like this, But I wanted to use a more fitting and aesthetically pleasing font for this post!
Today I wanted to show you what I did for my:
✨Cottagecore themed spring break✨
If you don't know what "cottagecore" is,. #1 you've either never been on the internet during the spring or summer, or #2 you don't know what Tumblr or Pinterest are. In that case, here's a post from Paper Mag about what it is and how influencers of the aesthetic feel about it. :
Anyway, this spring break I really wanted to do a bunch of relaxing cottagecore type things to get myself in the mood for spring!
Before I get into what I did, I wanted to show you a playlist that I make for my break called πΌπΏ"Fairy/elf chill"πΏπΌ. This cozy playlist is mostly for baking, pretending you are a hobbit, crocheting, napping outside, walking in the forest or just wishing you were a cottage fairy✨:

Now that I've shown my playlist, here's what I did this spring!
π§ΈMondayπ§Έ:
The first thing I did that morning was take a short zoom class on herbs, weeds and their benefits! (How cottagecore is that!)
After that I stretched, made my bed, washed my face and made breakfast.
I was gonna show what I wore everyday for break but I forgot to show what I was wearing on Monday:
π§Έlace scrunchies - made by meπ§Έ
π§Έteddy bear nightgown - hand-me-downπ§Έ
For breakfast I wanted to make eggs and toast with homemade
blueberry jam.
For the jam, the first thing I did was put at least one cup of frozen blueberries in a pot.
I then squeezed two halves of lemon juice in there + 1/4 cup of water.
For sweetener, I used floral clover honey and one table spoon of sugar.
Now, normally jams and jellies would contain ''Pectin' ( Which is what makes them have that gelatin-like constancy.) Instead, this recipe uses....
Chia seeds when submerged in liquid, get a strange jelly coating around the seeds which is why people use them for puddings and jams.
I put three table spoons of the chia in the pot . If your jam still looks "watery", don't worry, the chia will solidify once it cools off.
in the pot.
*MMMmmmm eggs...*
And here is the breakfast!
Here's the aftermath of the breakfast:
*burp*
After breakfast, for the rest of the day I kinda just crocheted while watching reruns of old shows for hours and hours.
The main thing I was trying to crochet was this crop tank top I have been trying to make since last month, and I finally finished it!!!
Before
After!
I'm sOOOooooo happy with how it turned out!!!!!
πΏTuesday:πΏ
On Tuesday for breakfast I had apple cinnamon oatmeal.
It was pretty good!
After I ate, I baked some blueberry and strawberry scone bread!
After the oven:
π
πΏPetticoat - AmazonπΏ
πΏBandana - Dollar TreeπΏ
(I really quickly just wanted to say that this Tuesday was the day that the police officer who murdered George Floyd was declared guilty, and I am literally so overjoyed and happy to finally see that justice for the African American community does actually exist . We are one step closer to being seen as humans who deserve respect and justice.π€✊πΎ)
For the rest of the day I watched asmr videos and relaxing cottagecore based vlogs on YouTube.
(I'm so happy my room matches the aesthetic.)
πΈ
While sitting there I was crocheting a hair bandana! (I'm gonna be crocheting a lot this week. get ready...)
Last week I ordered some things from Shein using some of my birthday money and the package came that day. Look at what was in it...
I Definitely HAVE to paint them (which I did later that night) but they still look so real!
πΈWednesday:πΈ
Ok, sooooo remember when I said that I bought some random stuff from Shein...... let's just say that this whole outfit is basically what I bought from there:
✨πOOTD: anime elffl✨
πΈhoodie - ShienπΈ
πΈelf ears - shien πΈ
πΈbutterfly clips - shienπΈ
πΈsocks - Shien!!!!πΈ
Yes, I did dress as a baby elf princess, and YES this sweater was comfortable!
I don't know what I was thinking about with this outfits but HEY,
I looked cute.
To be completely honest, my goal for spring break was to literally live like I was a fairy for a week and this day I really did that.
For breakfast I decided to have a Hobbit themed "second breakfast " :
Plus a Korean strawberry milk
which was very very good.π
After breakfast, I wanted to watch "Lord of the Rings" since I was in an elf mood.
I watched the second one and, MAN, someone needs to give the special FX makeup artist 100 awards because the orcs are the works of my nightmares.
I also wanted to show my cozy journal that I made in March and have been using during break. This was my Spring Break Bucket List for the week.
For lunch I again had a very hobbit - esque meal, so I had buttenut squash soup with sourdough toast strips!
π✨Thursday:✨π
That day my family and I wanted to go to the aquarium!
For breakfast I kinda wanted to have a "sea themed" breakfast I guess, so I had smoked salmon on toast with a champagne mango:
This was my first time having a champagne mango. It was really good!
Now for todays outfit!:
π✨πΈOOTD: Sea-BunnyπΈ✨π
✨Skirt - Ross✨
✨Socks - Shien✨
✨Mary Janes - Yesstyle✨
✨Shell bag - Amazon✨
✨Mask - Etsy✨
This is the same hoodie I wore on Wednesday but it's waayyyyy too comfortable to not wear again and again!
Later on it started to get cold so I pulled my hood up and I don't know if you can tell but..... the hood has bunny ears.
So......I definitely got a lot of weird and confused stares but first of all it was cold, and second of all it is the coziest thing EVER!!!!
(This is how big Emperor penguins are compared to me. yikes)
Here are some of the fish I saw!:
(what the heck is this?)
(if you know what this means, you are a true human of culture)
his name is now Timmy!
This fuzzy sea turtle has my whole heart now!
✨Jellies✨
Sea-puppies!!!
After the Aquarium, we got some food!
There were some shops that we wanted to check out around the boardwalk.
Look at these lights!
πFridayπ
On this day we wanted to go to the beach and just want around for a bit .
Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of my breakfast, or lunch (we had pokè for lunch) but, here's my outfit!
π✨π£OOTD: Urban cozyπ£✨π
πBomber jacket - Forever 21π
πBandana - crochet by me!π
πHoops - Forever 21π

I didn't really take any photos from Saturday or Sunday so that was basically it!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
