 Boo!

✨πŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ¦‡HAPPY *belated* HALLOWEEN /HAPPY HARVEST!!!!πŸ‚ πŸπŸ¦Š✨

Ah.... fall is finally here. AKA 2 degrees lower that usually (for me at least...)

In this post I wanted to show you all the fall related things I did in
October leading up to Halloween, plus some looks/costumes I did before and after Halloween.

First things first, my family & 1 went to a pumpkin patch/farm to got get some pumpkins.

They had some really cute homemade scarecrows too.

Marty Mccorw!

✨πŸŽƒ ✨

🌻

We also saw some animals like these cute little piggies and some goats!

πŸŽƒ

A few days later we went to a drive in Halloween parade and I dressed as a lamb for fun.

πŸ‘ πŸŽ€ ✨

(BTW I gave myself yarn braids for halloween!
One half if pink and one half is black)

I made the lamb bonnet myself inspired by bonnets this cute shop called Cxxndoo on Etsy makes.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics from the parade (mostly because it was nighttime time) but it was really cute.

πŸŽƒ

Later that week my parents and I got tickets to go to a drive in movie that was showing 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'!

Obviously, I had no choice but to dress up like a classic Tim Burton character for the movie.

πŸ–€ 🦴 🀍

Here's the full outfit:

(sorry about the bad lighting...)

We got some Mongolian food to eat while we watched the movie!

🎢 "Now, pay attention"
Now we pick up an oversized sock
And hang it like this on the wall"
"Oh, yes! Does it still have a foot?"
"Let me see, let me look
Is it rotted and covered with gook?"🎢

πŸŽƒ

Speaking of Tim Burton, I know that A lot of POC people on Tik Tok were sad because they felt like they didn't fit the Tim Burton "Aesthetic".

And to that I say,  MAKE IT FIT!

don't see why the aesthetic wouldn't work just because you're a different ethnicity.

A few weeks ago I did a Tim Burton character inspired look and I think I looked pretty cool!

The day before Halloween we went to the 'Huntington Library' which is a Garden/Museum in LA,
 It's such a beautiful place.

Since It was the day before the 31st I wanted to dress up and because of all the flowers and greenery at the Huntington I dressed up as a wood nymph/fairy!

πŸŒΈπŸ§šπŸΎπŸŒ›πŸ―✨🌿🌸

The dress it actually a nightgown from Shien but it was so pretty I had to wear it as a dress.

Aphrodite and her son Cupid.

✨ πŸΈ ✨

I found this cute Alice in Wonderland book in the gift store. (She kinda looks like me.) Stay tuned because this will give you a hint about what I planned to do on Halloween.

All hallows eve moon on the 30th πŸŒ™

 πŸŽƒ

Now, for what I did on the actual day of Halloween
Around two months ago I decided on Halloween to....

πŸƒ♣️♥️πŸŽƒ✨ HAVE AN ALICE IN WONDERLAND MAD TEA PARTY!!!✨πŸŽƒ♦️♠️πŸƒ

I was mostly inspired by the blog A Fanciful Twist for this party. She always has the most magical and creative Halloween parties every year.

SCONES!

For my costume I decided to be the Cheshire Cat. 🐈

A lot of the vintage images that I hung up are from The Graphics Fairy. She has a lot of free vintage pictures that you can printout or download.

The food was really, really good!

I also labeled all our chairs

My chair

My Dad's

My Mom's

And my Grandma's

After tea/dinner we watched Disney's "Alice Though the Looking Glass".

✨ ☕️ πŸŽƒ

✨Bonus✨: Here are some of my makeup looks and costumes after Halloween.

1# πŸ–€πŸ’•⛓πŸŽ€ Kawaii My Melody/Kuromi πŸŽ€ ⛓πŸ’•πŸ–€

I've been a Sanrio fan since I was little and the fact that the aesthetic is coming back makes me so happy and nostalgic.

☁️ Personally, my favorite Sanrio character is Cinnamoroll. ☁️

2#πŸŽ₯ πŸ–€πŸŽžDramatic 1920's Hollywood Starlet 🎞 πŸ–€ πŸŽ₯

This look had me feeling like the most dramatic person in the entire world.

Mostly because of the way my eyebrows were drawn on.

The look was mostly inspired by this random aesthetic picture I found on Pinterest.

This is probably the makeup look that I am MOST proudest of, because when I first started doing makeup I thought it would be impossible but I already like drawing so it's now become second nature and i'm having a lot of fun with it!

I apologize for this dramatic, Twilight Zone looking photo montage but I was really feeling myself.

Darling....

Gorgeous..

FACINATING!

Anyway....

πŸŽƒ

3# πŸ¦‹πŸŒ±πŸŠ  Bjork Alien Moth 🍊  πŸŒ± πŸ¦‹

I actually did this look yesterday randomly at 11:00pm.

I've been a Bjork fan for around two years and I always loved the moth inspired makeup looks and outfits she did for 'Utopia'.

The look was mostly inspired by these pictures from her Utopia/Vulincura era.

 πŸ¦‹

I've always kinda loved the way moths look and the different shapes they have on their wings and faces so  this look was pretty fun.

Well, that was all the Halloween and October related activities I did last moth.
I hope everybody has a safe and Covid free Thanksgiving

WEAR A MASK,
Wash your hands,
and stay safe.
