 Hello! 

    So due to the current climate in the world right now, a lot of people of color have been speaking up and I wanted to talk about something regarding black girls and fashion/makeup.

I feel that over the years society has degraded black girls and women by not really using them to describe femininity or beauty and making it seem like girls of color can't be soft or pretty. This makes some of us feel uncomfortable when it comes to dressing the way we want. 

Well, I'm here to say that.... BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL.

Whether we dress up, dress down, have lots of hair, have it cut short, wear makeup or a fresh face

So, I wanted to do a post dedicated to all the awesome styles that we can pull off by sharing some aesthetic and inspirational pictures to show how fly black girls really are.

In conclusion to all of these cool pictures, I can say with full confidence that "Black Girl Magic" 

is TOTALLY real! We are smart, talented and beautiful. So, the next time somebody says that we can't be soft, alt, kawaii, magical, geeky, watch anime, listen to rock music, like quirky things or that we're just "not black enough." Remember all the amazing, soft, alt, weird, geeky, weeb black girls who are 

extremely cool and look awesome.

Take it from me, a weird black girl who has heard the phrase "not black enough" too many times to count. Black girls can wear and like whatever styles we want.
